How much does it cost to build a garden fence which is 41.5 feet long and 6 ft high. How long will it take

It will take a long weekend with 2-3 people and cost 3-4 thousand dollars….

Does anybody know what the laws are in the U.K about the height you can build a fence in your garden.?
I live in a terraced house in the U.K,although it is a reasonably private area i recently had a swimming pool built and i feel we need some privacy from the neighbours.The only thing is i don’t know how high you are allowed to build a fence when you have neighbours either side.Can anybody help,thanks.

I always thought that unless your deeds said otherwise a fence could be no more than 6ft but I found this online which might help.

How high would I need to build a fence to keep my hens out of my vegetable garden?
Both my hens and vegetable garden will be in my back yard and when I’m not at work the hens won’t be locked in their run. I want to fence off a 10′x15′ section to turn into a vegetable garden.
How high will the fence need to be to keep heavy birds out?
And will clipping my one lighter bird’s wings keep her out?

I would say 4′ should do the trick. Chickens are not noted for their flying ability. As your garden grows past the baby plant stage, I would let the chickens work through the garden. They are wonderful at finding (and eating) bugs and other nasty things like caterpillars. Natural pest control.

How close can I build an extention to a neighbours garden fence?

With approval you can build up to the boundary no approval then 1 meter.
